Hand-woven bags by the Wayuu Community of La Giajira, Colombia. 

Mochilas made with a sustainable single cotton thread and plant base bags made of Iraca- a long palm plant, harvested and grown by the Wayuu themselves. 

All our bags are made by Lucinda, the photos on the right, are from her and the spot on the street where she sells her bags in Santa Marta, Colombia.

Lucinda has to travel when she is able to, in order to sell her bags in the streets of Santa Marta. 

A 4 hour 30 min trip, 157 miles from La Guajira to Santa Marta.
